Robert Green was met by his World Cup nemesis again in Clint Dempsey when he scored the the only goal for Fulham. Green didn't crumble from this adversity and shut down Fulham for the rest of the match.
Frederic Piquionne proved to be the savior for West Ham again by scoring the goal in the opening minutes of the second half. This was his second goal in two matches and helps the backing of Avram Grant's decision to start Piquionne over fan favorite Carlton Cole.
With this point the Hammers tie Wolverhampton at bottom of the table in points but are still behind in goal differential. With Wolves next week the Hammers face an early battle in the aim to starve of another late season relegation battle like last seasons.
The match is away on Saturday at 7:00 A.M. Los Angeles time.
It's West Ham Till I Die!!!
